Darka_of_Dk was born Darka Tabitha Devilin. Her Home was in the Majestic Mountains of the Land of Valtia. Though bastard-born, Darka was raised, and trained, as a member of the elite, Highborn families.

One night, on the year she became 16 years of age, Darka's mountain home was attacked by the superstitous humans who lived at the base of the mountain. Darka and her mother, Gypsina attempted to flee the slaughter. Darka's foot became trapped inside an araised tree root. Despite Darka's pleas for her mother to run and save save herself, Gypsina shifted her form in order to defend her daughter, from the human men. Racing towards them, Gypsina fought the men as best she could but all to no avail.

That Night, Darka watched to her ever lasting horror, a sight that would remain within her memory, and Dreams, the sight of her mother being brutely killed, then skinned of her pantherish Pelt, by the Humans.

Seizing Darka, the humans, instead of killing her out right, tied her hands to two tree branches, and savagely whipped her back until her flesh was raw and bleeding, her voice hoarse from the screams, and crying.

One of the villagers, spoke to the rest, proclaiming that she was evil, a Devil's Spawn, who had put the mark of evil upon innocent men and women. So saying, the humans branded the symbol, of the cross of their god, upon the middle of her raw bleeding back, causing Darka to finally loose consciousness.

Finishing with their torture, the humans left her to die, tied to the tree. When Darka finally woke up she was laying on her stomach, her wounds attended to, and a Rapier laid beside her sheathed.

This remains a mystery to her. Who cleaned her wounds and whose sword laid beside her. She went on a quest in search of the answers she was seeking and came upon the land of Tyran. Here she searches for the one with the answers.
